Everstar is proud to announce it has earned the Solutions Partner with certified software* designation for Energy AI** within the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.
This designation recognizes software that demonstrates interoperability with the Microsoft Cloud and meets program requirements. But for Everstar — and for the nuclear customers we serve — it's an even bigger milestone.
Cloud platform vs. software solution
Listing on Microsoft Marketplace tells customers that software is on a solid footing — the compliance infrastructure, the security controls, the procurement path. All of that matters.
The certified software designation is a different statement. It validates the partner's product. It demonstrates that the software itself has passed technical reviews for interoperability with Microsoft's cloud and has proven customer outcomes.
Microsoft introduced this program specifically to help customers more easily identify software solutions that are trustworthy and well-integrated.
The cloud was already trusted. Now our nuclear-smart platform is too.
Meeting a higher standard
In nuclear, independent verification is the standard. That’s why we tackled this designation.
It requires passing a technical review audit demonstrating that you have an industry-specific AI model or service hosted on Microsoft Azure. It is an independent technical review that confirms Gordian's AI capabilities are built on and interoperable with the Microsoft Cloud.
The designation also requires a proven track record of customer success, measured by commercial performance on the Microsoft Marketplace, combined with case studies showing that customers have achieved real value using Gordian.
When a company earns the designation, a digital badge appears directly on its Marketplace listing. Here’s ours: Gordian. Microsoft finds that the majority of customers evaluate vendor certifications and badging when searching for software solutions.
This is the combination that matters: technical verification plus customer traction.
Built for this industry
The certified software designation for Energy AI means the solution is doing real work for energy customers.
Gordian is built for the most documentation-intensive, compliance-heavy corner of the energy sector: nuclear. Performing siting and environmental permitting analyses, getting a design approved, ensuring the quality of manufactured components — these are processes that generate thousands of pages of technical documentation, often across many years. Gordian accelerates them by bringing AI directly into the workflows where that work happens.
Running on Azure
Gordian runs on Microsoft Azure and can be purchased through Microsoft Marketplace. This means an easier life for IT and procurement teams.
Traditional software procurement at nuclear companies can take 18–24 months as legal teams negotiate contracts, IT teams perform security assessments, and finance teams carve out new budget allocations. Availability on Microsoft Marketplace compresses this timeline dramatically.
Azure also means that nuclear organizations deploying Gordian inherit the compliance infrastructure they already rely on: FedRAMP High authorization, NERC CIP alignment, Entra ID integration, audit logging, and data residency controls. The certified software designation confirms that Gordian's AI capabilities are genuinely integrated with that infrastructure.
Working in nuclear
For teams who grew up asking questions about compliance and security, the certified software designation tells you something concrete. Gordian has been independently reviewed, and it has demonstrated real customer success in the energy sector.
