Our Team-up with Accenture: AI for Nuclear, at Scale

At Everstar, we believe in alliances that move the needle, especially when the stakes are as high as securing the future of nuclear energy.
That’s why I’m excited to team up with Accenture, one of the most capable organizations on the planet when it comes to solving complex, high-stakes problems with technology and operational know-how. Together, we’re setting out to do something that’s long overdue: make AI actually work for nuclear power.
One Unified Mission
Nuclear energy is entering a pivotal decade—one where it must scale faster, operate smarter, and transition seamlessly into the digital age. I built Everstar to accelerate that transition with purpose-built AI for the nuclear sector (hear our story in this video). Implementation at scale in a highly regulated, safety-critical industry requires a team that knows how to integrate, deploy, and drive change.
That’s where Accenture comes in. They bring:
- Deep expertise in enterprise integration into existing plant systems and data stores like Maximo, Documentum, and Databricks
- A proven track record of large-scale digital deployments
- Access to some of the most forward-looking utilities and energy operators on Earth
What we bring is a laser focus on AI tools built for nuclear realities: document intelligence, automating licensing and internal workflows, and building beyond language to deeper plant integrations. Together, we’ve got startup agility and enterprise muscle—a combination that the nuclear sector has been waiting for.
Why Now?
Let’s be blunt: nuclear doesn’t have the luxury of time.
We’re at risk of losing a huge portion of the skilled workforce (in some organizations, a quarter could retire today). Regulators are opening new pathways to speed deployment. The demand for carbon-free baseload power is skyrocketing. Despite all this, the adoption of AI in nuclear has been crawling, stuck behind legacy systems and justifiable skepticism around “black box” tools.
Enter our team, letting plants make faster engineering decisions, digitize decades of documents, maintain their assets better, and free up skilled labor for higher-value work.
With Accenture, we can do this at scale—not just in one plant, but across fleets. Not just in the U.S., but globally.
What Mutual Success Looks Like
This isn’t a vendor-client thing. It’s a shared bet on where the future is headed.
- For nuclear operators, it means faster paths to AI adoption without compromising safety or compliance.
- For Everstar, it means getting our AI tools into the hands of the people who can use them most.
- For Accenture, it’s an opportunity to apply their deep transformation capabilities to one of the most essential industries in the energy transition.
The goal? Make nuclear faster, smarter, and easier to scale.
We’ll be rolling out initial pilots with U.S. reactor operators this fall, with results feeding into broader deployment strategies in 2026. We’re also kicking off early conversations with utilities in Europe and Asia. The need is global, and the opportunity is massive.
Let’s Build the Future (While Keeping the Lights On)
I’m under no illusions that nuclear transformation is easy. But with the right tools and the right team, it’s absolutely possible, and urgently necessary.
Everstar + Accenture is a commitment to making AI in nuclear real, practical, and impactful.
Stay tuned, because the first results are coming soon. Contact me at kevin@everstar.ai or our team at hello@everstar.ai to get your name on the list.
